We sawAJ Croce last night which was incredible! 90% of the music he played was his dads. Had the chills all night.
Can’t figure out how to download the videos I took.3 -

I saw Metallica in Maine at the Monsters of Rock in 1987, I believe. Great show.

Listening to 90’s rap and hip hop this morning …back story (please indulge me). Always been (and always be) a rock fan from 60’s to present day. Same goes for country music, blues and reggae. However, some of my most impactful music introductions, besides 90’s alt rock scene (which was a major ripple in the rock matrix), was becoming initiated into to the rap/hip hop scene in early 80’s…talk about forever changing the music genre and industry. I equate music like cigars… Many different choices, depending on moods. Of course IMHO.

a classic still relevant.
National Brotherhood week:Oh the white folks hate the black folks,
And the black folks hate the white folks,
To hate all but the right folks,
Is an old established rule. But during National Brotherhood Week, National
Brotherhood Week,
Lena Horne and Sheriff Clark are dancing cheek to cheek.
It's fun to eulogize
The people you despise,
As long as you don't let 'em in your schools.Oh, the rich folks hate the poor folks,
And the poor folks hate the rich folks,
All of my folks hate all of your folks,
It's an old established rule. But during National Brotherhood Week, National
Brotherhood Week,
New Yorkers love the Puerto Ricans 'cause it's very chic.
Step up and take the hand,
Of someone you can't stand.
You can tolerate them if you try.Oh, the Protestants hate the Catholics,
And the Catholics hate the Protestants,
And the Hindus hate the Moslems,
And everyone hates the Jews. But during National Brotherhood Week, National
Brotherhood Week,
It's National Everyone Smile at One-Anotherhood Week.
Be nice to people who
Are inferior to you.
It's only for a week, so have no fear,
Be grateful that it doesn't last all year.1 -
Saw this somewhere on a tik tok / Instagram a while back as a "Songs you completely forgot about" and it's correct. Oddly, I've heard it at work several times since. What a great tune. Definitely don't remember Stevie Nicks on the background vocals.

The vocals... meh... but I like the music - it's relaxing to me.

Not my style of music, but it's a good demo track for my subwoofer. BTW, I don't like super-low bass you can feel in your innards - makes me uneasy and anxious.
